about
Inspired by the dead of night, retro tech, alternative music, and a deep love of dark-mode interfaces, "Nocturna" is an eclectic collection of my work and reflection of my own personal brand.
What I create with you will be a reflection of yours. :)

While each project is unique, I use the double diamond method for most projects I attack. I put a new spin on this process for your entertainment purposes. <3
experience

UI designer for an early-stage collaborative edTech product, built to save teachers time on planning and admin, and enable them to stay present and attentive to students during live class. I own the design process solo; from building upon exsting research with wireframes and prototypes, to our establishing our component library and design system. I produce design artifacts that support our engineering team with everything they need for the product’s upcoming launch.

Built factory and manufacturing software training that reached tens of thousands of Tesla employees across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, with customizations for each audience. Partnered with subject matter experts across production to turn complex, fast-moving processes into training people could follow on the floor, keeping workers safe and focused on active production lines.

Created digital visual assets used across hundreds of Google's internal training programs on digital privacy, safety, and security; giving dry but critical topics a clear visual language that helped tens of thousands of employees absorb and retain the material. Also helped plan and execute an internal LLM hackathon focused on finding, reporting, and patching potential exploit risks in Google’s Bard, now Gemini.

More than ten years designing across digital and print, spanning brand identity, web, advertising, and merchandise, helping clients turn a rough concept or a scattered brand into one clear visual identity that holds together everywhere it shows up. I run projects end to end, from strategy and concept to final delivery, so clients get polished work without staffing a full team.

I'm currently prioritizing full-time opportunities with product-minded teams. I also take on freelance projects on a selective basis. If either sounds like a fit, I'd love to hear from you.
